- What is the National Council of Municipalities in Japanese Clothing Producing Areas?
The “National Council of Municipalities in Japanese Clothing Production Areas” is composed of the councils and administrations of municipalities with traditional Japanese clothing production areas throughout the country, and was established in 1974 with the aim of contributing to the promotion of the Japanese clothing industry through mutual cooperation. Currently, it consists of 13 cities, 2 towns and villages.
